Vision Statement

We welcome new writers, established writers, and everyone interested in the writer's craft. Our purpose is to glorify God and His Son Jesus Christ through all we do as we encourage others in the craft of writing.

Mary Potter Kenyon & Nick Portzen, Co-coordinators

A twelve-year veteran of the conference, Mary Potter Kenyon, and her husband Nick Portzen have taken over as co-coordinators, with the help of a core committee of volunteers.

After nearly ten years of widowhood, Mary met the man God had asked her to pray for three years earlier. They were married six weeks later in August 2021. Nick is a veteran and long-time owner/operator of a business in Wisconsin. With years of experience in cooking and catering, Nick will be providing the meals during our event. Nick and Mary live in Dubuque, Iowa.
